What happens when two guys come to the Geek and the City studio? A whole bunch of random, awesome geekery involving sports and tech, athletes as celebrities, and annoying bandwagon fans. We talk about Groupon, and how it differs from Facebook Deals, and I find out that there’s a marijuana university in Oakland. Go figure.
And, what do men think of Heidi Montag’s ridiculous surgeries? Apparantly she made her boobies “H” for Heidi. Nice. We also conclude that if you’re good (or famous) at something, stick with it–we’re sick of reality stars making music.
Fantasy sports make their way into or discussion, too. What’s the difference between Yahoo! Sports, ESPN fantasy leagues, and CBS Sports? We talk about the potential for greater social media integration in these platforms. I also learn why fantasy sports are so darn addicting.
Thanks for joining me, guys! Brendon previously joined me on Geek and the City Episode 1.
